This is something as of a standard. Maybe it's something small that you only know about, or something big that everyone knows about. What do you think?
I believe in God, but I can't "prove" this to anyone. I watched this great PBS special on the universe the other day, and saw some great photos of the Andromeda galaxy - the object that is furthest away from us that we can still see with the naked eye. It's 22.4 million light years away from us. That means the image we see when we look at it is how it looked 22.4 million years ago, not as it presently looks. Isn't that a fantastic thought? Isn't it mind boggling? And then I was reminded of the vastness and wonder of the universe, the eternity of it, and the amazing wonders we have not even begun to grasp or conceptualize. The sheer vastness of existence and the wonderment at beginnings and lack of endings of existence is perhaps reason enough for belief, but only for some, it seems...
I believe in the future of mankind. Obviously some people don't and have given up. I can't prove it, but I believe we will overcome our differences, our destructive ways, our petty jealousies and our intense hatreds. Someday.
I believe in love. You try proving love. :P - Love gets confused with all sorts of feeling. Infatuation. Sorrow. Sympathy. I can't really explain where I'm coming from so don't ask. - Other than that... Well, look at my name. :P
I believe in the saying " Love begets love". But i cant prove it, because their are so many tragic one-sided stories out there. But still i have faith in this statement, and i feel when you really really love someone, that person will ultimately fall in love with you and start caring for you.
I believe in karma....that the things you do will come back to haunt you...it can be good or bad.
If you have done bad things, you won't have the best of fortune, and the other way around.
I believe in all kinds of emotions...true love,sorrow,sympathy...i cant see these and cant prove them... But that is the wonder of having 7 senses...we don't only use our eyes to see,but we use our hearts to prove something bigger than the existing which the naked eye can see....i believe i have brains..though i haven't seen it...*grin*
I believe in God, but there are some people who don't. Maybe I can't prove it to any one, but every one has the prove in himself. Who created us? Our bodies are made of millions of cells. Who created our hearts that is working all the time, even when we're sleeping?
What about the great universe? There must be a great power that is able to create the life, starting with the huge planets to the microscopic cells.
What about our souls? Who gave them to us?
Moreover, we cannot ignore the feeling that appears when we become in a critical situation. We start to ask the God to help us, specially when we are alone & we pray so every thing will be alright.
ALL those things makes us think of life. We should be good people in the life,we should have faith, we should be grateful to the God & do the good deeds that would make the place we live in a better place.
Everybody believes in something even if they can't prove it; it's perfectly normal. Like for instance, i believe in God, but can we prove that he is real? No we can't, life is life, you don't have to always believe in what others believe in just like they don't have to for yours. *smiles*
That a bunch of history is not true and there is no point in English, i can talk already, and i can add subtract and also multi and divide so no more math!!!!!
