    Is It A Good Idea To Hold New Born Hapsters?

    Well, I was told that holding the baby hamsters would cause the mother to kill them because she smelled the sent of my hands. I was just wondering if it is a bad idea so I can avoid touching them in anyway.

    Absolutely not! Leave mom and babies alone for a week to 10 days or the mom will feel threatened and start eating the babies.
