What Are The Most Important Things To Bear In Mind When Starting An Exam?

Answer Question

2 Answers - Sort by: Date | Rating

First, nearly everyone experiences a moment of panic when they see the questions, which look so difficult as to be almost meaningless. So you're not alone. Take a deep breath, a sip of water and read them again. If allowed, underline key words. Take a minute or two to choose your questions – it's vital not to be influenced by people around you who may be writing from the word go. You don't know if they're doing the right thing. If you can't choose a question, maybe try jotting down words associated with each one – see if one feels easier than another.
Having chosen, again you shouldn't rush into writing. Take a few minutes to make notes. Especially if you have writer's block, just carry on jotting more detailed notes for a bit – you're not wasting time, because the essay will go much faster when you do start. When you start, always have the question in mind.
