Is there a way to make the box bigger so i can see more of what i am typing?

No, Nomad. But if you post your initial response and choose "edit, it is much easier to add comment and see what you are doing. It might be a good suggestion that the initial edit box be expanded fot ease of use, however. Good point. Have you joined the Blurtit Suggestion Box group yet?
