Is There A Risk Of Going Blind During Laser Eye Surgery?

Answer Question

Not during surgery, AFTER. I have had laser done twice. Not knowing the possibilities of other options, I chose to go ahead. Now after the first laser, to correct blood vessels bursting from a bout of high blood pressure, it had helped with the blood vessels. But if you do not keep your blood pressure in check. The symptom can re-occur, Since I had a problem again, I went to see a specialist again, but I also claimed to have a problem with a slight blurry vision also. The doctor recommended more laser before tackling the blurry vision. Although the doctor knew full well that the blurry vision was due to the laser. He did not volunteer that information. He just wanted to make sure he could do the laser to get another fat paycheck for a procedure that was not going to fix the blurry vision but was supposedly going to fix the blood vessel problem. Although, if I had kept better control of my blood pressure, I would not have needed the laser. Now after my second laser, my vision is really cloudy in my right eye which is by the way my dominate eye. Now I am going blind in my eye from laser which caused scarring tissue. If I had known before hand, I would never had agreed to the laser. I feel a mandatory information pamphlet be issued to anyone who seeks laser for their eye to explain the options, benefits and risks to a person seeking this form of surgery.
