Can You Tell Me About The Cherhill Gang?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

During the 18th century there was this wicked group of highway men, who carried out their robbery on the London to Bath main road ( which is currently called A4). This group of wicked men came to be known as the Cherchil Gang. This Gang would attack wealthy Londoners carriages with their mastered robbery techniques. One of the smart techniques incorporated by them was that they would be completely nude while asking the people to hand over their money. This nude apperance shocked the people around and so, these robbers could not be spotted.

The A4 which is also known as Great West Road and Bath Road, is the main connecting route from London to the West of England. It runs through Hammersmith, Turnham Green, Brentford to Hounslow.
