I'm In The Last Month Of My Lease And Have Given 30 Day Notice With Full Rent. I Received Notice They Are Charging Me $120.00 LATE Fee, Though It Was Not,What Are My Rights?

Additional: $100.00 HOA violation and $25 fee. He returned my check and said he needs a certified check. My regular rent is $1319.00/mo and now the bill is $1564.00. What are my rights, especially with this late fee?

It depends on the lease you signed. You need to get a copy of it if you don't have one. By law he has to give that to you. Those fee's could be the little things you really didn't go over. If it's not in there, you need to get a lawyer because he thinks your stupid. He can't do that unless you signed a lease saying those disclosures!!! Hope I could help a little. Good luck.

Your rights depend upon the lease agreement. If there is something written in the lease agreement that you will have to pay a late fee of $120 then you have to pay it.

Read the lease agreement and it will clear you everything.
