What Does The Bible Says About Faith?

Answer Question

2 Answers - Sort by: Date | Rating

The bible talks about the faith of the lord in indirect ways. Nowhere in the Bible is it stated that the faith of the Lord is in a particular manner. Well it is up to you on the way you interpret it. Remember one thing your faith in the Lord should never be doubted. That is the only reason when we say the Lords prayer we worship him, we admit he is the one, we also believe it his rule on earth as well as in heaven. It is because we have faith in the Lord that we turn to him in times of trial and tribulations to show us the way. And we also ask for forgiveness, for the only reason that we have faith in the lord.

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for the evidence of things not seen.  Hebrews 11:1

Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of GOD so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.   Hebrews 11:3

but without faith it its impossible to please him for he that cometh to GOD must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.  11:6
