You should let your dog eat freely
its kind of Mean not to let him eat when hes hungry
if hes full he will know it and if he starts gaining weight get a diet brand instead and dont let him eat treats freely

Pugs should not be fed freely. They have the tendency to overeat. As a puppy they should eat 1 ounce per pound and as they get bigger it's 1/2 ounce per pound
