How Do You Find A Good House With Nice Housemates In Norwich?

Friends of friends is going to be the most reliable route for nice people. But the difficulty with nice people is that they already usually have lots of other people wanting to share a house with them!

So you're probably going to have to fall back on advertisements for housemates in the EDP or the Evening News (the local newspapers). And expect to visit a lot of houses before you find one that feels right.

UEA runs its own room-for-rent list. This will include lots of mature students, post-grads and young research associates seeking housmates -- not just rowdy undergrads who only want to party and leave their rubbish all over the house. But you have to be an employee or student up there to look at the list. If you know anybody who works/studies at UEA, it's worth while to see if they might be able to look at the list for you (surreptitiously, of course, because I can't guarantee that they're allowed to do this)..
