Do You Think Americans Are Less Patriotic Now?
Even though I was not yet born I think Americans were more patriotic and more supportive of the war effort during WWII than they are now.

Americans were rightly more patriotic during WW2. They had reason to be, it was a time of stronger moral value, accountability, and co-operation.
The Government served the people and a sense of responsibility to humanity then, now they seem to serve oil companies with a responsibility to shareholders.
I don't think Americans are less patriotic now, i just don't think they are prepared to be blindly patriotic to a Government who serves them poorly.

I think there is less now a day as the kids weren't raised to be conscious about where they live, now they just want their things and are concerned more with that then our country. I think it's a shame too.

I think that strange000 is right but also I think that since they took saying the Pledge of Alliegience out of school has a part in it.I think todays people are also too much into the cell phones and computers and what they have and I agree with tiggersmom that it is a shame
