    Is There Internal Bleeding When A Dog Drowns?

    Our 13 yr.old Akita/chow mix recently drown in our
    family pool-she hated water and never got in it, so
    we know that she fell in. When we took her out
    and laid her on the ground, blood came out of her mouth-Is this normal or would there have been some-thing wrong with her-possibly causing her to fall in.
    She had no wounds on her body-it wasn't a whole lot of blood and it wasn't seen until she was taken out and laid out on her side.

    If I believe on you that your dog hate water and don't go inside the pool himself then only possibility of falling in to pool can be seizure. Because immediately after seizure attack, dogs lose vision or become blind for a while. I am not finding any other reason. Watch your dog very carefully. If she get another seizure attack then get her to vet.
