Land registry documents are supposed to be the most accurate form of documents that are usually saved with the government of that particular country. In some countries, this system is not practiced such as United States of America and in others it is not even compulsory, such as Ireland. In the United Kingdom, according to The Land Registration Act of 2002, every property and its deal have to be registered with the country's government.

Land registry documents are updated every once in a while or whenever they get new information about any particular property. These documents are made mandatory by law and it serves as evidence if there is any conflict between two parties about a certain property. All the relevant details about the property such as name, area etc is recorded and registered into that document.
