    Sir Syed Ahmed khan was one of the greatest leaders that have lived in the sub-continent. He was the pioneer of modern education in subcontinent especially for Muslims. He founded Aligarh university that was one of the best universities in the subcontinent at that time. He stood up for Urdu, the national language of Pakistan and has a major role in its survival, which include the Hindi-Urdu controversy and many of his articles that were published in newspapers.
