If I Am On A Medical From Work Can They Fire Me?
I was diagnosed with lupus and have been off work since June, company states my job would be secure when I was able to come back to work. I received a letter in the mail stating I was terminated because I cannot come back to work at this time.

Hi, I am assuming your company has a family medical leave policy? That would spell out how long they can or have to hold your job, legally. You might want to check your handbook. I also found this website that talks about FML. If I read it correctly, they talk about a period of 12 weeks. http://eeoc.gov/policy/docs/fmlaada.html
