What Insect Bit Me?
I was bit in the arm by a black insect yesterday at Galveston Beach. I think it was a flying insect, possibly furry. My arm is still itching and very red. It's also still swelling and turning hard. Any ideas what it could be and how to treat it?

As there are lots of insects on the beach so its is very difficult to tell which insect bit you but insect bites can be treated very easily. Fist of all don't scratch them and try to wash the infected area as much as possible. You can find many anti-itching or anti-septic creams in the market. Keep the infected area moist and open. This will help it to heal faster. If the infected area burn, burst open or if they become worse, or if the skin color changes then it is better you see your doctor because the insect which bites you might be poisonous.
