I believe you are talking about the research that scientists were involved in Harvard. This research was about happiness, how to achieve It and the various dimensions of happiness. A group of scientists were involved in this research. They are known as happy scientists. These scientists are also trying to find out about the factors or reasons that make them happy.

Ultimately they have come to the conclusion that happiness is a very elusive emotion and that it never lasts as long as we think it will. Daniel Gilbert, a professor of psychology at Harvard University is one of the prominent people involved in this research. He says that there is no fixed definition to happiness and compares it with a thing like insanity. He is of the opinion that it is hard to describe happiness but easy to know when you see it.
