There are actually two colors of Jaguars, the one that's categorized with the regular cat families and the other is solid black which some call Panthers, you can tell a black Jaguar or Panther is a Jaguar because it's got that unique big head with those huge jaw bones on the side of their face that makes them easily identified from some other smaller black cat like a leopard.
