I Had Sex 3 Days Before My Period Was Due And Still Had My Period As Normal. Could I Still Be Pregnant Even Though I Had A Period?

Sometimes when you're pregnant you can still have a period but if I was you I would go and get a test to see if you are pregnant or not. You may have to take more than one test.

Getting a period while you are pregnant is possible but not very common.
However you get pregnant during your ovulation days, which normally occur 2 weeks before your period and continue for a week. The week right after your period finishes is safe. Similarly it is considered safe to have sex during the week right before the start of your period.
Considering these scientific facts, you are probably not pregnant. As you would not have been ovulating three days before you got your period. However, if you have had sex earlier in the month too, then there is a chance that you might be pregnant.
Although, this is generally what doctors believe, you never know with eggs and sperms :) The best way to find out is to take a test.
You can get a home pregnancy test. They are inexpensive and easily available. The best time to test with a home pregnancy test is early in the morning. In fact you should test with the first urine in the morning. However, Home Pregnancy tests cannot be relied 100%. Though they rarely come out positive when you are not pregnant but they often come out negative when you are actually pregnant.
The best way to find out is to go for a proper lab test. But if you cannot do that for some reason, then do get a Home Pregnancy Test.

i had sex a week before my period an i am used to having five day periods this time it was three days an i took a pregnancy test fore days after i had sex in the middle of the day. and it said i want but that was way before my period like a week or two so could i be pregnant?
When the same thing happened to me I asked my friend who is a mom and she said yes, but not likely. It mostly happens after your period. If I were you I would actually take a test. I wish you the best.
