How Do I Find My Sisters' IP Address?
We both use remote assistance with each other to produce The Yellow Pages. I therefore need her IP address each time I sign into her computer. This address changes often and her pc has to be rebooted to obtain the new one, which she does regularly. Now she is out of town and I am due to sign in and work but the address has changed yet again, she lives a great distance away and our hands are tied.

Well, every time a system connect to Internet, it gets a dynamic IP address. It means it will be different every time you connect. Your sister must have tell you about the IP address every time she connects. There is no other way that you could know this IP address. The other thing you can do is to tell your sister not to disconnect the Internet and if you stay connected then the IP address will remain the same.

You can set up a static ip address under on her net card. And tell what it is by going to a ms dos prompt, and typing ipconfig/all

If you both having the LAN connection you can get the ip address through the ipconfiq in you MSDOS prompt & chk the ip address. For the ISP ip address you can chk that from ip-details.com
