Answer Question

2 Answers - Sort by: Date | Rating

Norway lies in the extreme north. It is located in northern Europe and is known for its extreme winter weather. In winter the temperatures are supposed to be around minus fifteen degrees Celsius. Maximum temperatures in winter have been recorded as nineteen degrees Celsius and the coldest winter temperature recorded has been minus fifty one degrees Celsius. In summer the highest average temperature is supposed to be around twenty two degrees Celsius. Norway is characterized by extreme cold and snow. The summer hardly manages to melt the snow from the coasts and the mountains have permanent glaciers and snow cover.

Norway is a narrow nation with Sweden and Finland to its east. It also consists of a long coastline with innumerable small islands located off its coast.
