The pixels are what make up the picture, with each individual pixel reacting to the gas used by the Plasma tv to change to red, blue or green, which can result in over 16 million colours available to the tv.

When shopping for a new TV buy one with the most pixels, this will deliver a better quality picture.

Pixel in televisions is the basic unit of composition of an image on the screen. Keeping other things constant, the more the pixels in a tv, the better is the quality.
