How Do I Install A Ceiling Fan With No Light Switch Or Light In Room.?

Depends on how accessible it is to get to the ceiling. If yo can do it from the attic just find the center of the room and drill a hole. Then go up in the attic and see how close to a ceiling joist you are if you can nail the box to the joist cut the hole for the box and nail it to the joist if not cut a 2 x 4 to fit in between the joists nail it in and screw the box to it.  Then find a 14-2 wire in the attic and cut it making sure the power is off first and put a junction box in. Then run a new wire from the junction box to the ceiling fan box which by the way is octagon shape.  Then from the ceiling fan box run a wire down the wall where you want to put the switch at.  You might have to drill a hole in the top plate depending on how old the house is.  Cut a hole for the switch box.    Also you should use a remodel box as these are easiest to install in a wall. Then just wire everything up.  If you want to put the fan and light on a different switch then you will need 14-3 wire and use a  4x4 box.  If you live in a two story house and can't access the ceiling through the attic it's  a totally different ballgame

Somehow you will have to get a power source to the ceiling box where you will install the fan and then control by using the pull chains
