Who Was The Zodiac Killer?

The zodiac killer was basically an American serial killer who is till this day at large. The zodiac killer carried out his murdering spree for a period of ten months in Northern California in the late 1960s. He used to send the newspaper offices letters regarding his murders and violent acts.  The zodiac killer targeted his victims at random and his victims were four men and three women ranging between the ages of sixteen and twenty nine years of age. His identity till this date remains unknown as he was never found or apprehended by the police. The San Francisco Police marked this investigation as INACTIVE in the year of 2004 and then again in March of the year 2007 the case was reopened.

In his letters to the press the Zodiac Killer claimed that he had killed a total of thirty seven people. According to police investigations only seven were linked to him out of whom two people survived. His victims were, David Arthur Faraday and Betty Lou Jensen shot and killed on the 20th of December in 1968. Michael Renault Mageau (19 years old) and Darlene Elizabeth Ferrin (22 years old) shot and killed on the 4th of July in 1969. Paul Lee Stine (29 years old) was shot and killed on the 11th of October in 1969.
