Why Are Teenagers So Stupid?

They are not stupid. They are just ignorant to the world. They are inexperienced. They are just learning!

Because they are rebellious, they wished that they could be right for once, and that people would LET them make mistakes, the older people, the parents, teacher, aunts and uncles use the excuse " We had to learn the hard way, were just trying to pass it onto you so you don't have to" well why did THEY get to learn it on their own. People need to stop telling us what to do, an let us find out right from wrong on our own, then we wouldn't have to rash out stupidly!!! It's an impulse, there is only so much we can take, there is a point where our brains don't want to be ruled over, they want to be their own person so much that they shut down, and we do stupid things unconsciously

I RESENT THAT! And not all of teens are stupid! For example me i am very smart!  And teens not all of them know better (which is sad really sad), and sometimes need guidance not to do stupid acts! This is just one of the steps to being an adult!

I would not call them stupid every adult you see today was a teen at one time,but most teens are risk takers and don't believe you when you tell them different I can only say that is a part of growing up,there are some that think the adults were born as a adult that goes to show you some just don't think,but I must say there are also non-thinking adults, but it is immature to paint all teens with a broad brush as there are some very clever teens as there are adults,teens learn as they go,that is the job of a parent to teach and train and some don't because they have not grown up themselves...

I wouldn't say stupid, but sheltered and naive to the world outside of school and home.

There not being stupid there just curious and are trying to have fun and express them selves
