Who Was President On 04051841?
Are there 2 days that we didn't have a president or did someone actually have the job but they don't count? Who ever was president after him didnt take the oath of office till the 6th. Also one president after him didnt want to take the oath of office on a sunday so they put it off. In that case the last president had resigned and there wasnt a new pres till monday

I don't mean to be mean but i think you need to read the history of 1841 for yourself so here is a couple of pages on the presidents including 1841.just click on the blue names on the wikipedia page. The second page tells of the shortest presidential term in 1841. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Presidents_of_the_United_States www.nps.gov/pub_aff/pres/trivia.htm

William Henry Harrison who was the oldest president (until Regan), was also the first to die in office and had the shortest term in history. He became ill and died of pneumonia 31 days into his term on April 4, 1841. John Tyler, the vice president, took office on April 4, 1881. What was truly unique was that it was the first of only two times that the US had three presidents in one year. It happened a second time in 1881 when Rutherford B Hayes was followed by James A Garfield. Garfield was assassinated that year , and Chester A. Arthur assumed the Presidency.
