How To Know If You Have A Pinched Nerve?

It's a tingling, to numbing to burning sensation in my knee. Then it goes up my spine, but just the burning. And it feels like a stabbing pinich in my knee. I am very active, so i don't know how this started. Please HELP. My mother refuses to pay for the doctors office till she has reason to believe this is serious.

    The pinch nerve can be in spine or any other peripheral nerve. The symptoms of pinched nerves are
    1. Pain
    2. Numbness
    3. Pins and needles or tingling
    4. Burning sensations
    So if you have these symptoms then visit to a doctor and get MRI for proper diagnosis.
