Who Is Edea In Final Fantasy VIII?

Edea is a character in the role playing game called Final Fantasy VIII. She plays the character of a sorceress. Her full name is Edea Kramer. Edea is actually introduced very early on in the game. She is shown as a sorceress who is power hungry and wants to conquer the entire world. A team of SeeD consisting of Squall, Zell, Irvine, Quistis, Selphie and Rinoa are dispatched to destroy Edea.

However later in the game it is revealed that Edea is a good sorceress being controlled by a sorceress named 'Ultimecia' from the future. Edea also joins the team for a short while as a playable character. It is also disclosed later that she is actually the wife of 'Cid Kramer' the headmaster of Ballamb Garden.
