Can A Urine Test Detect Alcohol After 3 Days?

I was told that there was a urine test that could detect alcohol in your system within 5 days. Is this true?

No, alcohol burns out of your system pretty fast, unless your a real hard-core drinker. I have gotten pretty drunk and have had urine test within 6 hours and they alcohol was never detected. I may have a fast burning system but have been told that to detect alcohol I would have to literally drink a fifth in the parking lot and then go take a urine test? If that is true I don't know because I never tried but after at least 24 hours unless something unusual it should be gone.

Its true that there is a test that can detect the traces of alcohol in urine after 3-5 days of use. Ethyl gluconoride (EtG) metabolite is the name of the test that has been designed to detect any traces of alcohol in the body through urine test. The alcohol consumed up to 80 hours prior to the test can be detected.
