How Do You Define Truthfulness?

Truthfulness consists in stating a fact as it is. It is a moral virtue which should be very highly cultivated. There is no religion higher than truth. It is a cardinal virtue, without which virtues can not subsist . truthful men are honoured everywhere. On the other hand, a liar loses the confidence even of his own friends. We must always speak the truth. If a truth is bitter and may cause unnecessary offence to others by speaking an untruth. Undue flattery is also a kind of falsehood which degrades man.

Some men tell lies from mere indifference others from a desire to please others. All these forms are equally bad. But the worst is that which we invent for our own benefit to injure others. This habit of lying is very degrading. A liar is not believed even when he speaks the truth.

History shows that truthful men suffered much they did not give up truthfulness. If scientists, philosophers teachers and prophets had not revealed the truths to the world at large, the world would not have progressed at all. They preferred suffering and even death to the with holding of the truths which they had seen and realized. Their name will shine for ever for this service of humanity.

Truthfulness is the human quality of communicating and the theatre truthful. It is related to authenticity as a rate. This includes listening, and each action in the human repertoire — as well as discourse.Superficially, honesty means just, stating facts and views as most excellent one truly believes them to be. It includes both honesty to others, and to oneself  and with allusion to ones own motives and inner reality.

Quality of truthfulness applies to all behaviors, one cannot refuse to consider factual in sort, and for instance, in a neutral manner and still claim that one's knowledge, confidence or position is an attempt to be honest. Such a belief is clearly a product of one's desires and just has nil to do with the human ability to know. Basing one's positions on what one wants — rather than unbiased evidence meeting — is lying even when good excellence intentions can be cited — after all yet villains could cite good intentions and calculated glory for a pick cluster of citizens. Clearly then, an impartial shift on the road to to the reality is a requirement of truthfulness.
