Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

Change is basically a new way of doing things or it could be an entirely new thing. It can take on many forms. It can be developmental change, transitional change or transformational change.

Transitional change is basically undertaken to improve the efficiency of a process. It refers to replacement of a process by something that is new to the company as a whole. This kind of change usually involves taking up new machinery or processes to simplify complex task or to decrease the time consumed. Automation is one of the examples of Transitional change.

On the other hand, transformational change is a kind of change that usually follows a radical development in technology. For example, when computers were introduced in the market, all the companies had to adopt them because they had no other choice. Not adopting to computer technology would have made them uncompetitive in the industry.c
