There are different ways to build a website.
But first you must decide whether you want to use a certain program to build a website, if you have the knowledge of programming or use a user friendly platform with which you can construct,add and edit a website through its interface.

You really cannot build a totally free website. You can go to www.metamorphozis.com and use free templates to build the site. You will need to by a domain name and a hosting site area. I have a site called how2computer.com that I built using the metamorphozis free templates. I also used Godaddy.com for the domain purchase and hosting area for a total startup of $35.

Negative... You can DEFINITELY build a free site... I actually run a free host. We are in the process of getting our servers and will be up before the end of the weekend! We offer free hosting and a free website builder... So come check out the site, join the forum!
