Blood pressure is measured in 2 reading. Upper reading which is higher number is the blood pressure when heart beats. It is called systolic blood pressure. Bottom reading is called diastolic which is blood pressure when heart rests. Ideal diastolic blood pressure is 80 while systolic 120. So, normal blood pressure is 120/80.
