The battle of Hastings took place on 14th October 1066. The war was fought between Norman army of William 1 and Harold Godwinson of England. The battle was won by Norman and resulted in assassination of Herald II. It was held at Senlac Hill which is 10 kilometers away from North West of Hastings.
