    The New York City Civil Court is basically a court inquiry civil case and this is done usually within the New York City. The court's jurisdiction comprises of civil actions for reparation arising inside the five counties of New York City. These claims could be an amount of $25,000 for example, and apart from money it could also include residential and profitable landlord and tenant disputes. The court also listens to or hears cases that are sometimes transferred from the New York State Supreme Court. In some cases the court even handles small claims up to $5,000.
