Yes it is. Is in it amazing what money can do for you when you have someone lobby for you or give then sweet heat deals like they gave Senator Dodd an Representative Frank whom just happen to be in charge of the banking committees. We would call that taking bribes where congress calls that nothing of the kind and get away with it while we would be sitting in jail.
Our problem is that our congress is corrupt no matter which party is in control and until we get it fixed congress will sell it vote, push some companies agenda. Think about it if you owned a company or a ceo of a large company and could save your company many millions of dollars at the cost of several million dollars by bribing congress to pass a bill in your favor you would do it. Even if you knew it was wrong because congress is for sale that why. We the people lose each and every time.
