Marketing tools are the methods and techniques, which can be used to target the customers and make them aware of the product offerings. For any organization, business, banking sector or manufacturers, it is essential to market their products and services to the target customers and do not let their resources to go waste. There are basically two types of customers, one is the individuals who uses the products or services and the other one is the corporate clients or commonly known as business customers.
There are several tools to market the individuals, for example use of air media including advertisements and print media like news papers, brochures etc. However, most companies do not use such type of tools to market to their corporate customers. They go for direct marking like personal selling rather then indirect marking. Personal selling is a mode of marketing tool which involves direct marketing, it can take the form of face to face selling, or making direct calls and mails to the corporate clients rather than going for indirect marketing like use of air media and print advertisements the banks representatives directly go and meet different companies and introduce themselves and their service offerings to the respective company and attracts them through guarantees and special rates.
