It all depends on the company. Most independently run business don't look at hours for minors as big corporations do. For example I work at Price Chopper, they allow their minors to work only up to 28 hours a week 4 hours a night during school nights. On Friday Saturday and Sunday they can work up to 8 hours. When school is not in session they can work 8 hours each day and 35 hours a week. They can not work later then 10pm or earlier then 6am.
