    Iran has warned that the Navy service personnel capture in the gulf, may face trial.  Again I ask, where is the SAS and what are they paid for?  Will this lead to an invasion? Doesn't Britain value its service personnel?   Come on Blair, sign the order, send the SAS in.

    Police in Northern Ireland have come under attack by petrol bombs during a security operation, all is still not calm in the province.

    Australian David Hicks has been sentenced to nine months in prison for his involvement in terrorism in Afghanistan, I wasn't aware that the USA had legal juristinction in the Middle East.
    At least it will be prison in his home country of Australia.  He won't be popular there!

    In Cambodia, text messages have been banned for the weekend to prevent campaigning for the election by text message.

    A huge polluted water scare has put religious services at risk in the West of Ireland at this important religious time of year.
