What Are Graphic Pen, Scanners And Joystick?

1. joystick
A joystick is also a pointing device that uses a lever to control the position of the cursor. It translates the position and speed of the lever into signals to control the cursor movements. it is same as the joystick which is used to play video games . In computers it is used to play games only.

2. Graphic pen and tablet
Graphic pen and tablet are also called as digitizer which is another pointing device, similar to a light pen. Mainly used for the purpose of graphic designing (textile designing, engineering designing and so on...). Digitizer uses a special pad, called a graphic tablet, on which graphic pen is used to draw objects. The graphic tablet I pressure sensitive, meaning is graphic pen is used with pressure it draws a thick line.

3. Scanners
Any light sensitive device translating printed texts, magnetic characters, barcodes, and other visual images in to digital form for a computer can be termed as scanner. There are two scanner colors scanners and black & white scanners available in two sizes: handy and flat bed .Through scanners anything can be put inside the computer system for easy editing. These are very popular in desktop publishing and designing applications
