The song “you are everything” was written by a group called “the stylistics”, which was a soul group from Philadelphia. The group was formed in the year 1968 and the members of the group were Russell Thompkins, Jr., Herbie Murrell, Airrion Love, James Smith, and James Dunn. The current members of the group are Herbie Murrell, Airrion Love, Van Fields, and Harold Eban Brown and they are still active till this day under the name “the new stylistics”. They remained quite popular during the 1970’s and their song, “you are everything” made it to the US top ten R&B hits along with 11 other tracks.
