    The workers have been given participation in the management to extent of 20% of the managerial Board. The union has been entitled to appoint an auditor for the inspection of stores and records. To make the trade inions more effective, shop steward system has been introduced.

    Workers of a shop/department will elect their representative. The representative will act as a linkman between the management and the workers. To ensure full justice to the workers, labour courts have been set up. If the management fails to redress the grievances the matter may be taken to the labour court. The labour court is bound to decide the matter with in twenty days.

    The clerical and the subordinate staff of the banks bargaining. The leaders will negotiate with the management for the settlement of demands. To ensure that strikes do not take place without the consent of the workers, it has been made obligatory for union to hold a secrete ballot before serving a strike notice. If the majority of workers is in favour of strike, then the union can serve a strike notice.

    Full protection has been given to the worker against retrenchment and termination by the management. It has made compulsory for the employers to issue written orders of appointment, transfer and promotion of workers. The employer is bound to state reason explicitly of the action taken.
