Everyone gets their off-days – it's part of being human.

But when those off-days turn into off-weeks, or longer, it's usually a sign that things aren't right inside you.

You could be feeling the way you do for any number of reasons, and we'd recommend you speak to a qualified practitioner so you can identify – and deal with – those reasons.

But in the meantime, yes, aromatherapy can certainly help reduce those feelings, so here's an essential oil recipe to help you through until find someone to help with the cause of those feelings:

2 drops Orange, for energy and exuberance
4 drops Clary Sage, for uplifting the spirit
2 drops Neroli, for reducing anxiety

Add these to the water in your vaporizer, and light the candle beneath.

As the water warms up, the vapours from the essential oils disperse into the air around you to work their magic on your mind and emotions.

Always remember that aromatherapy and essential oils never provide the actual cure to any kind of complaint – they just activate your body's own internal healing mechanisms.

You are absolutely right, and you are on the right track as well!
Aromatherapy helps one relax and to lower anxiety and stress levels in an individual. The health benefits of using aromatherapy as a curative for dementia, for Alzheimer's, for arthritis, and for a myriad of other illnesses of the mind and of the body are well documented.
As far as you are concerned, you say that you feel depressed most of the time, without really knowing why. In such a case, aromatherapy would definitely help you overcome your depression.
You need to use the essential oils of 'ylang ylang' and Rosemary. Add a few drops of these aromatic oils into your warm bath, soak in it for how much ever time you want, and when you get out, pat yourself dry, so that the essential benefits are retained.
Try this therapy for a while, and you will notice the benefits!
