    What Does 20cm3 For Every Cubic Meter Of Water Mean?

    I have a pool with 17450 m3 of water. I need to add 20cm3 of a chemical for every cubic meter of water. In terms of fluid ounces, what measurement of chemical will I need to add to the water.

    Silly math homework.  That's a pretty big pool.
     
    20 cubic centimeters for every cubic meter
     
    20 cc is one "dose".  You need one dose for every cubic meter .  You have 17450 cubic meters so you need 17450 doses
     
    17450 dose/m3 * 20cm3 = 34900 cm3
     
    For US customary units, there are 29.57353 cc in 1 fluid ounce
     
    349000 cc * 1 fluid ounce/29.57353cc = 11801 fl oz. (a little more than 92-gallons - US)

    Slammer, I see your point about the size of the pool, it should read 17.45 m3. Thanks for the reply,I am always lost at maths and admire the brain boxes
