How Otto Von Bismarck Came To Power?

Otto Eduard Leopold, Prince Von Bismark, was born on April 1st, 1815, was one of the most well-known European aristocrats and statesmen of the nineteenth century. He rose to power and position when he was made the Count of Bismarck-Schonhausen in the year 1865, and by the year 1871 he turned into the prince of Bismarck.

As the Minister-President of Prussia from the year 1862 to 1890, he combined many states of Germany. From the year 1867 he was appointed as the Chancellor of the Northern German Confederation. Bismarck is commonly referred as the Iron Chancellor.

He had deep conservative, monarchist and aristocratic views; his biggest political achievement was of converting Prussia as the most powerful state inside the German Confederation. He expired on 30th July 1898.
