How Long Does It Take To Give Birth?
My dog went into labber around 12:30 am last night she had one pup at 4:30 am it is now 2:00 pm she is still breathing hard and is weping but is not pushing it looked like she should have had more then one pup how long thes it take?

Normally the gestation period of dogs lasts some nine weeks or sixty three days. But between conception and the time of giving birth, it can take a period of fifty nine to sixty three days before the puppies arrives. You can tell she is about to give birth by the change in temperature.
