There are different ways to obtain a picture which has been taken from a digital camera. One thing that you really need is the USB or a connecting cord for your camera that you must have received along with the camera. You need to connect your digital camera to your computer's CPU through this USB cord. Every computer has at least two USB outlets.
You have to find one and connect your digital camera with it. Insert the CD that you received with the digital camera in the CD drive and download the software that is needed to view your pictures on the PC. Once the download is complete, remove the CD and restart you comp if needed. Go to My Computer and you will see a new icon appeared there called "Removable USB device", click on that to view your pictures. You can simply connect a laser jet printer to you PC and take prints of the pictures as well.
