I recently had really bad strep last month it was painful and I have it again and I can barely swallow anything not even my medicine(which is liquid) so does that mean that i soon may have to have my tonsils removed?

It is my tonsils that are hurting. Last month when i had it the doctor said that she had never seen tonsils as huge as mine were. Please help it hurts like heck. It feels like something is taking a cheese grater and rubbing it all over my throat and tonsils. Ok thank you i had it last month and i have a feeling it won't be the last time i have it and yes no matter how hard i do still take my medicine. I'll try gargling with salt water. Thank You

Oh.. How many times have you had it??.. Have you use thing for gargle?/.. They can help too.. Or try gargle lukewarm water with salt.. At least twice a day.. And don't let the pain stop you from drinking your meds.. Take it as ordered.. You need strong antibiotics for that... Have you consulted a doctor yet??.. Have it check..
