How Was The Internet First Developed?

    Internet was first developed in 1960. Then, the internet was known as ARPANET which stands for Advanced Research Projects Agency net. It was brought online for the first time in 1969. Initially, it connected only 4 computers in different universities all over southwest US. The internet was developed to provide a wide communication network. In the early 1970s, internet was only used by computer experts, scientists, engineers etc. emailing was developed in 1972. In 1991, internet became a friendly interface. A simple menu system was developed in the University of Minnesota which enables a number of users connect through a local area network.
