Grants are a pretty fine way to spread money around for the purpose politician's keeping their office. Just another means of leveling the playing field by wasting the taxpayer's money.

I think part of it is so that when you complete your schooling, you are more able to find a job, and that in turn, helps the economy, as well as keeps people employed. Just what our country needs right now. Hope this helps hon.

Grants are for those that don't have and need trust me you have to jump through hoops to qualify for them makes one wonder is it worth it except the ones for education they are a bit easier to get but seems your parents need to be down to nothing or it will disqualify you, which is sort of nonsense because they still have to live and survive when the student leaves for school it should be based on the student not the parents......the best to you
